CFCS 3rd visit under Sister Khairunisa

To the pairs whom are concerned:

Anyone who's suppose to visit their patient with Sister Khairunisa should go and see her. She wants to start visiting your patients with you all as soon as possible, not ON  the dates scheduled on the board (and JUST in case you did not know, the list is on the board outside the library, outside csu sister's station and also on the cfcs board near the student lounge).

Please also remember this is your evaluation as part of the process for CFCS.

Dear Aiman,

I have gone through the presentations.

There are some deficiencies.

Please convey to all.

Only drawing family genogram is not enough, during the first presentation and report writing (Both should be there), your focus should be

1. Establishing diagnosis by History, physical examination and investigations available

2. Finding out relations between the illness and occupation of patient, if any

3. Finding out the people around the patient, their relationship with illness (Habits, occupations, addictions)

4. Observation of home environment and neighborhood, finding out any relations with disease process and its progression

CFCS Group 1

Dear Prof Moti Lal & Dr. Nilesh Kumar CFCS mentees,

The meeting for presentation will be held on 2 & 3 November 2010 from 1200pm to 1pm. Three pairs will present for each session and the first three pairs are Kamini's, Joanne's and Wai Kit's pair. Submit the reports to Aiman latest by Friday. Later than Friday, please submit to Sister Hamidah directly. Also, send the softcopy of the presentations to Dr. Nilesh at malasannil@yahoo.co.uk during the weekend.

Dearest batchmates,

Here are some of the announcements we have made this week:

1. The elective/selective grouping list (along with its timing) is out on the semester 6 notice board. FYI, selective/ elective is in semester 8 and is done on a "rotation" basis, like our KKB / Gombak posting the last time.

For those who are interested to swap groupings, you may find someone from the other group ( t is not necessary to find someone of the same gender) and address your letter to Ms Sharminie of the AAD Department. The deadline for the application is October 1, failing which no changes will be entertained.

2. The buddy list is also out on Academic Affairs notice board. Do contact them if you need any "senior's advice" :)

3. MMA registration forms! See this post for more information.

4. I still have a few copies of the CFCS guides for those of you who don't have it. Your deadline to search for a CFCS patient is 2 weeks, meaning the week after Raya.

5. Ethics course! Remember to submit your certificate of completion on Monday to Zia along with your 400 word reflections/ essay.

6. Orientation night is on Monday night at 7PM! Remember to come in your national costumes. Food will also be provided. Do come...it's a good time to mingle with many of our lecturers who are coming.
