SRC Announcements (13th July)

Hey everyone!

Just a few announcements for you to take note of :

Info Day Payment
The payment for volunteers who helped out during Info Day is now ready. Please collect it in the SRC Office from Nirmal (Secretary).

Hilltop Carpark Tarring
We are currently negotiating with the administration to have our hilltop carpark tarred. It will be properly painted to maximize space. However, it will not be sheltered. We have put up a poll on our blog ( imusrc.blogspot.com) to find out how much students are willing to pay for it per day. The closing date for the poll is 24th of July 2009. We will use the results from the poll to discuss with the administration. Should you have any suggestions/comments, kindly head over to imucampus.com

Car Stickers
from En. Dawi Bakri

Please be informed that with immediate effect all staff and student who come to IMU clinical school should have and display the IMU sticker on their vehicle.  Without IMU sticker the Security Guards from Limbungan Setia Bhd will not allowed you to enter to IMU.  For Seremban clinical school staff and students who have no sticker please collect it from me immediately.

Temperature Screening

Hi all,

So sorry for flooding your emails. Here are some updates about the temperature screening that we've just gotten from Dr. Ranjit. Please take note of the changes and announce it to your batch okay. Thanks so much!

Volunteers for Screening of Students
from Vice Presidents (Medicine & Pharmacy)

Due to the large number of students coming in next week (coinciding with the new pharmacy, health sciences & medical sciences batches), there will be a temperature screening at every entrance point for all staff and students from 7.45am to 4.30pm on Monday 13 July.

We will need about 50 volunteers to help screen the temperatures in different shifts and would appreciate it if all batches can send at least 5 volunteers each

For those who would like to volunteer, please give your names to your respective batch representatives by Thursday (9 July) okay? Thanks loads for your help :)

Regards,
SRC 09/10

Semester 5 Changes

A few things to take note of about the proposed changes to the Sem 5 timetable...

1) DEADLINE FOR VOTING HAS BEEN BROUGHT FORWARD TO 15 JULY (next Wednesday) so please tell your friends and ask them to vote by then!

2) The change will be for ONE EXTRA WEEK of study break before EOS 5, if people vote for it. That means Sem 4 holidays will be shorter by a week, and Sem 5 study break is longer by a week (making it 3 weeks instead of 2).

3) Not sure if Dentistry will be affected! Jodie will get back to me about this, but she said that Dentistry shouldn't be affected as Med & Dent classes will not be combined in Sem 5.

That's all for now, dears. :) And results for EOS 3 will be out at 3pm this Friday at the AAD!

Luv, Jade

SRC Announcements (7th July)

Hey everyone!

Volunteers for Screening of Students
from Vice President (Medicine)

As the new batches for all faculties start to enroll into IMU in the coming two months, we will need about 50 volunteers to help screen the temperatures for all new Semester 1s. We would appreciate it if all batches can send at least 5 volunteers each. Those interested, please give your names to your respective batch representatives by Friday (10th July). Thank you.

Temperature screening is on Monday 13 July from about 7.30am to about 4.30pm (tentatively). We'll be doing it in shifts so don't worry about the hours. Anyway, we'll be sending out another email with more details later today or tomorrow morning once Dr. Ranjit gets back to us on the confirmed timings okay.

(Please email in to the batch email, or sms Jade. Kor Woi is out of the country until 23rd July.)

Thank you!
