More Kampung Angkat Information

Dear all, 

These are the 12 students I've assigned for paediatric screening for Kg Angkat. Meanwhile, do inform each posting leaders that we have a general briefing for ALL students going to Kg Angkat on wednesday, 24/11/10, 5pm in JBLT. I'll need a boy & girl as MCs for the event who can speak good malay. Paediatric briefing with Prof Winnie Chee is on Thursday at 3pm in SR10.

News from Kg Angkat (the one 27th November)

Dear all,

There will be a general briefing for ALL students going to kg angkat on next wednesday, 24/11/10, 5pm in JBLT.

They need a boy & girl as MCs for the event. Preferably someone good in Bahasa. And also will be needing 3 pairs of students preparing a short (15 minutes) health talk about

(1)hygiene (handwashing, brushing teeth)
(2)chronic diseases (HPT/DM)
(3)self-examination of the breast

Be as creative as possible and you can borrow the breast model from CSU. Please let Zia know by Friday.

Kampung Angkat

Dear all,

The Semester 10 is organizing a Kampung Angkat Project (KAP) which falls on the 20^th and 21^st of November. Health screening would be the main event which is the purpose of this KAP being held and organized annually by all Semester 10 students. Hereby, we are extending our invitation to juniors from Seremban Clinical School so that it will be of benefit when it reaches your turn in Semester 10. Brief details of the KAP are as follow:-

Day 1 (20/11/2010)

-Massive health screening + games

-Telematch

-Cultural Night

-Homestay with an adopted family (Kelurga angkat is part of the project where you and a partner will be assigned to stay with a family. More details will be provided when you arrived Batu Pahat)

Day 2 (21/11/2010)

-Morning activities

-Bid farewell to respective families

(End by Sunday noon)

Dear all juniors, you guys are expected to arrive Batu Pahat on the 19/11/2010, Friday (evening). Accommodation on Friday night would be provided. I would expect you guys to have your own transport down to Batu Pahat but the petrol will be reimbursed by IMU.

As the number of juniors is limited, we can only take in certain number. So, do confirm with me ASAP. You are most welcome to e-mail me if you have any queries.

p/s: Do confirm with me by 12^th of November, Friday. Hereby, I apologize for such a short notice but I assure you that you will learn something out of this project.
