Hi guys! :)
How are your holidays so far? Hope you're all enjoying them~
Ok, so these are a few announcements just to cover stuff that has been polled on or asked, etc etc.
1. Sem 5 Timetable Changes
As mentioned in a previous post, there have been changes proposed for our Sem 5 academic calendar to add one week to our EOS5 study break. The option to add one week or not has been put up to vote (results on the right sidebar of the blog) and the outcome is for shorter Sem 4 holidays & a longer Sem 5 study break!
I've emailed these results to Jodie, the Medic VP, so she & Dr Yadav will take care of it and let us know in Sem 4 whether these changes are confirmed.
2. Electives
Don't forget electives are from 3rd-23rd of August! For those who would like to get in touch with the AAD staff in charge of electives (and are lazy to go in to IMU :P), the person you need is:
Cik Hasniza
Email: hasniza_mhdbakri@imu.edu.my
Ext. no.: 2207
3. Graph for EOS3 Results
Just fyi, I have checked with AAD and they have informed me that there is no graph available for EOS, and the graph is usually only produced for our ICA (summatives).
4. Remedial Classes (for resit students)
AAD has told me that they have emailed the timetable for the remedial classes (which start next week Monday, the 20th) to all the resit students. :) So those involved, please check your email, or even your IMU email as found at the ICT Services homepage.
If you haven't received the email, the timetable can be found in the i-Drive > Timetables & Notices >Medicine > ME108
Lastly, from my understanding, those who failed OSCE have also been emailed this timetable, so there are classes for you with Dr Sasikala. :)
5. Results Notification Emails
It's been mentioned that the emails are very ambiguous when a notice that a student has failed is sent out because it only displays that one has failed the EOS.
AAD told me that they will not provide breakdown for the results via email, so if a student has failed the EOS paper and/or OSCE, they will just email out that the student failed. If you want to know whether you failed the theory or practical, then you must collect your results personally.
6. Recommended Texts for Sem 4
Don't have a list yet, haha. If anyone has suggestions please let me know via chatbox, email, or sms. :)
Alriiiighty~ That's all, folks. Enjoy the holidays and don't grow too fat. :P Anything else you guys need help with, just contact me. Korwoi will be back after 23rd July!
Much love,
Jade
