Manlo Kwok Man Ho

Manifesto from Manlo Kwok, Man Ho (VP, Medicine Candidate)
Focus on Semester to semester
Semester 1
- Will oversee the whole orientation committee and orientation programme
- Extra help on first two weeks lectures for non-biology students.
- Arrange them a PMS talk to let them know some of the requirements of the PMS, information will be taken from semester 5. Talk will be given by VP
- Tell them what to expect from every single learning component, such as SILOS, OLIS

Semester 2
- Provide them OSPE tutorial from the senior batches
- Will negotiate with the department to have at least 2 guided MMS sessions on microbiology

Semester 3 – 5 (System-Based Course)
- Will negotiate with the department to hae at least 1 MMS guided session for each system
- Will negotiate to arrange no rotations one week before EOS3, but still depend on the department
- Will issue OSCE format and requirements as soon as the semester starts, so students can start preparing for it earlier
- Will negotiate with the CSU lecturers to help students out when they were having their practise session.
- Arrange evaluation form for EACH student to evaluate PBL facilitators, make sure the facilitators will get them back from students
- Try to arrange PBL facilitators to be at least PhD holder or Medical doctors, PhD students will not be included. (Sem 3 to sem 5)
- Will negotiate to arrange student-visiting program to other universities in Malaysia
- Will arrange students with research if they want
- Will discuss with the CSU department head about the standardisation of the teaching at CSU
- Focus more on negotiating a more flexible timetable for selectives to meet students’ schedules back home (Under semester 4)
- Will provide students with sufficient information for PMS, such as information about the University and clarify the stuff when you need

For all semesters
- I will review all the complaints with departments immediately.
- Collaborate with the MMS committee and batch representatives closely to see what can be improved to help students in their studies
- Make sure the ambassador programme will keep going
- Keep in touch with alumni, to give talks on PMS and Seremban
- Timetable should be out at least one system in advance, so out-state students can book their tickets back home earlier.
