VOLUNTEER NEEDED!!

The Obstetrics and Gyanecology department at KLGH (Kuala Lumpur General Hospital) are organising a risk management course on the 10th of december 2008.

The medical proffession is now full of litigation and many of these situations could be avoided with good communication and good patient rapport. The aim is to educate medical proffessionals on the law and where they stand in the 21stcentury.

Help is needed with this course though. Seminars will be held in the afternoon and the help of 4 medical students is needed. Ideally they should be keen to learn with an air for dramatics. They might be needed to act as unhappy or angry patients to help illustrate the techniques for dealing with these patients. They are very welcome to attend the course for free and they will recieve a certificate from the ministry of health.

The details are as follows:

Date: 10th December 2008

Time: lectures are at 0800hrs and the afternoon session starts at1200hrs

Venue: UPM campus(Grand Seasons Hotel opposite KLGH)
