hi guys, here are some updates
- Ward groupings
- W1: azra, thlogi, izzat, mohan, ashwath, ferdi (L), siaw yen
- W2: sufi, vidya, jovann (L), sanjay, lakshen, aifaa, mira
- W3: hasni, elya, fatin (L), aiman, karbela, Raiha
*respective leaders (Ferdi, jovann, fatin) pls divide the bed numbers to your members
*apart from dividing nu of beds, leader pls allocate one member to prepare a case for each TBL session (I want to play safe by at least preparing 3 cases for each TBL)
2. Ward allocations

*each subgroups (W1, W2,W3) will have a chance to be in both female and male wards
*since DK does not prefer rotation of the groups, i’ve allocated 2 weeks for each group (W1 and W3) in ward 3A. Unfortunately, group W2 won’t have any chance to be in ward 3A. However, to be fair, u guys (W2) will have 3 weeks at male wards thus making u guys to have ample of patients to practice. cheers!
3. Groupings for CP&D
- A: azra, thlogi, izzat, hasni (L), elya, fatin, siaw yen, sufi, vidya, jovann
- B: sanjay, lakshen, aifaa, mira (L), aiman, karbela, mohan, ashwath, Ferdi
*respective leaders (hasni and mira) pls contact the lect a day before CP
4. Further changes
- Instead of Prof Yushak, tmorow’s CSU will be with Dr Ranjan regarding wound care and biopsy technique (we supposed to do biopsy on apples^^)
- Prof Yushak’s CSU3 is postponed to wed (29/2/12) and we’ll see a patient with leg ulcer.
5. Venue and time for classes are according to the timetable. Any further changes will be informed. and later i'll contact u guys thru emails, so pls check ur emails everyday
Hope that this SURGERY posting will give us a good and very nice experience before we become a houseman next year (hopefully^^). Lets be more active, more responsible, and more hardworking sem9 students k!!!
