Dear all,
We will be having a batch ethics class on the 10th of June 2011 from 2.30 PM-3.30 PM. Location is to be confirmed.
It will be a case based discussion so please find example of cases in library books/Internet, preferably local cases, for us to discuss. A small PowerPoint presentation on the case itself can be made.
Posting - Ethical Topic
- Paediatrics - Beneficence
- Obstetrics - Autonomy
- Psychiatry - Social Justice
- Orthopaedics - Non-maleficence
Your case does not have to correspond with your current posting (ie. just because you are in obstetrics you don't have to find a case concerning social justice in obstetrics, it can be social justice in any field of medicine).
Attendance is compulsory for all and will be taken.
