Dear batchmates,
:) I can't tell you how much peace I've had since the chatbox was removed. But anyway, at the persistent request of a select few, the chatbox is up and running again, BUT!! with some IMPORTANT groundrules.
If any are broken, then the future is bleak for the chatbox--and it will be removed again at the discretion of the batchreps.
So if you missed it, and want it here to stay, please maintain the following rules, and RESPECT EACH OTHER! Let's keep each other accountable & responsible, and use this chatbox maturely.
1. DO NOT: Curse, swear, or badmouth lecturers, staff, batchmates, or anyone/anything for that matter. It will be deleted.
2. DO NOT: Impersonate somebody by using their name to post up comments/questions. We will verify the identity of the poster, and if found to be an impersonation, it will be deleted.
3. ONLY COMMENTS POSTED WITH YOUR OWN NAME will be taken note of seriously and replied by myself & Kor Woi. All other anonymous / nameless / fakely-named posts will be ignored and/or deleted.
No more of that "Rave Smart" or "good student" or "ooo" or "hey" or "hello" or "question" crap. If you have a proper question, YOU CAN AFFORD TO USE YOUR OWN NAME TO POST IT. Thanks.
4. Also, we are not gods. We don't know the answers to everything. Neither is IMU at our every beck and command. If you must whine or feel disturbed about something, you have the ability to DO something about it through the correct channels. :) We are all mature and responsible adults.
