Merdeka Celebration By B1/07 Malaysian Studies Students
Dear distinguished guest,
It is my great pleasure to invite you as the guest of honor to witness the Opening Ceremony of the Down Memory Lane - Merdeka Celebration. The details of the event are as below:
Date : 27 August 2009
Time : 12.30pm – 2.00pm
Venue : Atrium, Ground Floor
This Merdeka celebration is organized by the B1/07 Malaysian Studies students in collaboration with the IMU Student Services Department. This year, in cohesion with the theme “Down Memory Lane”, the event will revolve around the various events that the country had gone through in its journey in obtaining independence till the current Malaysia that we have in this peaceful era.
An exhibition will be held throughout this event, portraying the different stages our country in different period of time since the Merdeka in 1957, giving this Merdeka celebration a pinch of educational element. Besides that, several activities will be held, including cultural performances as well as a Malaysian food fair.
