Electives Reply - H1N1 Issue

Dear All,

Concern of the H1N1 Issue among ME1/08 students doing their elective posting in hospitals or clinics has been raised. I have gave it much thought and the decision is that students will need to complete their elective posting as required.

As future doctors, we cannot run away from a problem. We need to face the problem and solve it. Doctors cannot close their clinics, wards or hospitals because there is an outbreak of disease.

However, ME1/08 students need to take every precaution to protect themselves. Please follow the guidelines implemented by the Ministry of Health Malaysia strictly at all times.
