AIR Topic Issues

Dearest batchmates,

Please take note!! This is a very important announcement as it pertains to your AIR topic submissions & results!

Some of you have been experiencing problems and errors
when logging in to submit your AIR topic, or even to check the results for your AIR topic.

If you can view your AIR topic submission normally, then you don't have a problem and don't need to worry.

If your problem is when you click to "view" the AIR topic submission in the folder
and it comes out with some blue text
and numbers
and some weird error code,
and your AIR topic doesn't appear, then
YOUR AIR TOPIC HAS NOT BEEN SUBMITTED.
and the submission box is BLANK.

This could have happened to your Respi, Haemato, or GIT air topics, so PLEASE CHECK! (any of the sem 3 topics)

You will need to RESUBMIT your AIR topic.

How do you do this?

:))) Ms Liza at e-Learning has been most helpful and understanding, and she has agreed to help us!
She has agreed to help us resubmit our AIR topics if we email them to her.

Please do the following:

1. Email Ms Liza at elearning@imu.edu.my

2. State your FULL NAME and ID NUMBER. (no ID num, she can't help you)

3. Attach the soft copy of your AIR topic.

4. Specify clearly which system you are re-submitting for.

And that's it! :) Any questions, please email us to ask, or call us.

Fyi, Ms Liza said that this problem occurs when you log-in to the SIL portal and are idle for too long.
If you are idle for too long on the submission page (editing words, or typing it in), then the server will automatically log you out.
Then after you click to send, it won't register because you are logged out...
And this error of a blank submission box occurs.

So to avoid this problem, make sure you submit your AIR topic quickly after logging-in! And if you have any problems checking your submission, go to e-Learning (located @ 3rd floor, near the newer e-Labs & MDLs) and ask for assistance. :) They're very friendly.

p/s. if you don't have logbooks for the rotations to Gombak or KKB, please find someone who has one and photocopy your own! :)
