CHINESE CULTURAL SOCIETY AGM

Hey people,

There will be an AGM for the Chinese Cultural Society this Thursday (26 February 2009) at SR3 at 12.30pm. Please do come for the meeting, both members and also non-members are most welcome. Plus, there will be FREE food! So yeah, your attendance is most appreciated. Again, the numbers:

BREASTFEEDING HISTORY

Jane from Semester 7 from IMU Seremban needs around 60 of our batch mates to find out about their breastfeeding history (from their parents) particularly the duration they were breastfed, and whether they were purely on breast milk or there was a mixture of formula milk as well. (Those who were selected but not breastfed, they HAVE TO PARTICIPATE in our research as well)

This Thursday Jane will be coming down to IMU BJ. She and her colleagues will station ourselves in a room in CSU for the whole day. So, PLEASE TURN UP for the session as they need to conduct some visual acuity testing on the volunteers.

PLEASE DO VOLUNTEER! IT'LL LOOK REALLY BAD IF NO ONE FROM OUR BATCH SHOWS UP.

IMU'S GOT TALENT

Hi fellow IMU-rians,

We're having the FIRST-EVER IMU's Got Talent, where you can showcase ANY talent of yours! From juggling, performing magic tricks, singing, dancing, or acting, or ANY talent of yours!!!

Registration is open this week. Forms can be obtained at the Atrium, or you can contact Jien (012 3238610) to obtain the soft copy of the form!

It costs only RM3 to register yourself, or your group (maximum of 3 persons per group.)

There will be 2 elimination rounds.

Elimination Round 1 - 10th and 11th March 2009

Elimination Round 2 - 16th March 2009

Finals - 25rd March 2009

There will be prizes for contestants of every round!

After Elimination Round 1 -

prizes worth RM50 (only for the contestant with the highest vote)

After Elimination Round 2 -

prizes worth RM75 + RM50 Tenji Japanese Buffet Voucher (for all contestants who enter the Finals)!!

Grand winners

- prizes worth RM300 (which includes 2 Ball Tickets,etc) for an individual who wins

OR prizes worth RM450 (which includes 3 Ball Tickets, etc) for group winner.
