Important Notices from SRC

LIBRARY: Items Being Stolen!

There have been a series of stolen hand phones, wallets and cameras within the last week from the pigeon holes outside the library and outside the Counselor's Hall. Five incidents have occurred over a period of 5 days. We are very sorry for the inconveniences and have notified security and administration. However, to prevent further cases from happening, please do not leave any valuable belongings unattended.

Thank you for your co-operation.

ATRIUM: Noise Levels Too High

Thanks to all for the continued lunch time performances and activities that occur in the atrium. It is a pleasure to be a part of the events that occur and to witness the various talents of our students at IMU. I would also like to thank everyone for their courtesy and understanding with regards to lowering the volume levels of the musical performances. Even though we are authorized to use the Atrium between 12-2pm during the working day, we must be aware that there are still classes in session as well as staff working during this period. Our building tends to produce an echo which travels throughout IMU and can therefore be quite disturbing to those working or in class.

The SRC is currently working on providing specific guidelines for acceptable volume levels. Please be very aware that it is not the intention of IMU or the SRC to hinder any performances. We simply wish to allow the continuation of lunch time activities without causing disturbance to our fellow students, staff, and employees of IMU.

If any activities planned are expected to be very noisy, we strongly encourage you to use an alternate venue and perhaps schedule the event to occur after 6pm.

Please visit the SRC or Student Affairs Dept. for any queries regarding this matter.

Thanks for your understanding and co-operation in creating a harmonious environment.

Best of luck for EOS guys! We can do this!

Loads of love ♥ and cheers ☺,
