The China Sichuan Earthquake that occured on 12th May 2008 was a major disaster for China. The death toll was estimated to be 23000 innocent people... Children that survived had lost their parents... Man and Women that lived miss their loved ones who might be dead... Therefore, we IMU students of ME108 and DT108 have taken the initiative to organise a fund raising activity, dedicated to the earthquake victims with the objective to help them reconstruct their homes and help them live through this dark hour.
We shall organise it so we need as many people to help as possible. It doesn't matter if we do not have the time.. it matters only when we have the heart.
We need as many volunteers as possible from our batch!!! Seriously, and i ask for ur help..

Fund Raised shall be channel to the victims directly through the Chinese Embassy

Preparation ( to be out by Friday, latest by Monday)
- Video to be screened to all batches including the pharmacies.
- Donation Boxes lockable, to be placed in the Atrium, Library, SAD, and given to all Batchreps.
- News and articles wif Pictures to be posted at the Atrium.
- AV system... with projectors.. wanan show videos and pictres and slide show at the Atrium from 10:30am onwards until 2:30pm...
- Making some cards to sell? buying sweets and sell? maybe some titbits? how about Tags?.. as decoration to our lovely lanyards mar... :P
- Banners to be hung at the Atrium.... Creativity!!!!!!!
- Speeches by lecturers and students
- Band performance by Sem1 and Sem4
- Banner making by IMU community
