Malay Cultural Week

I'm Kamal Hakim M207 frm Malay Cultural Society (MCS).
Later on 28july to 1aug 2008, the MCS will organize a Malay Cultural Week. Among all the events, there are dikir barat competition and dancing competition. Details are in the docs attached.

PAINT BALL TRIP 27 JUNE!!!!

Paintball Trip (27th June 2008):
Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well amidst exam preparations, be it forsummatives or End-Of-Semester exams. In conjunction with thecelebration of post-examination freedom for Semesters 1, 2 and 3, IMUCampus Friends and the IMU Adventure Club have come up with the idea of a paintball trip on the 27th of June 2008 (Friday).

We thought the idea to be an interesting and fun one, as most of ushave been wanting to go paintballing for a very long time, but we allagree that it is much more fun to do it in larger groups, and really,what better way to release all the pent-up stress from exams than toengage in a little paintballing fun?

Attached below are some details: Date: 27th June 2008 Time: 9 am – 11 am (Meet at the IMU Entrance at 8 am) Xtion Paintball Park National Sports Complex, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur Website: http://www.xtionpaintball.com RM 45.00 per person

Consists of the following :
1. 2-Hours Time Slot.
2. Safety and Game Briefing.
3. A Paintball Mask.
4. A Paintball Marker.(Choices of Paintball Markers from Tippmann ProCarbine,Spyder Sonix or Spyder TLX)
5. 50 nos. of paintballs (The Ammo)
6. Unlimited supply of Compressed Air / co2

NOTICE TO IMU STUDENTS

The roadworks dept. needs to tar the road between IMU & Vista Komanwel. We would appreciate it if you could REMOVE YOUR CARS parked along the roadside outside IMU & Vista Komanwel immediately as parking there is first of all illegal by law. Students are advised to park at designated parking lots available at the IMU hill. The IMU would like to warn all students that if cars are still found parked along the roadside, there could be chances that the residents will call the police and tow trucks to tow away the cars.

1 Dear All,There will be a class meeting scheduled on the 18 of June 2008 at Auditorium A from 11.45am-12.45am. Attendance is COMPULSORY.

2 Hey guys,Me and Joshua had a meeting with one of the Dental Staff today and aside from the RM1,675 for the dental instruments that we have to purchase, we will also need extra money to purchase uniforms for Dental Lab and Dental Clinic as well. So please prepare RM2,200 cash to purchase all these miscellaneous items for next semester. The cost of the uniforms have not been finalised yet and I know it's a lot but it's something we need otherwise we won't be able to attend dental practice sessions. Thanks.Lydia

Attention All Batch Reps

We are asking for your full support on the following issue.

Please ensure that the information is forwarded to your entire batch, along with a verbal announcement ASAP.

Students are no longer allowed to park along the roadside at IMU/ Vista Komanwel for the following reasons:

1) It is illegal to park alongside the road

2) It creates unnecessary congestion on the road

3) It is dangerous parking in non-parking zones

4)Vista residents have voiced much complaint

5)DBKL will be issuing summons

6) Roadwork cannot be completed with vehicles blocking the street All students must use the open carpark on the hill.
