IMU BP Community Oriented Project

Hey guys, 

Please remember that EVERYONE HAS TO JOIN A POSITION for the community oriented project. We will be holding a jogathon in November.

The positions currently available are:

1. IT & promotion (4 more students). Leader is Akmal Damanhuri.
Involved in designing pamphlets/website/FB page/banners, approaching schools, PA system and projection.

2. Liason & Logistics (10 more students).

Leader is Joel Yap and Wan Mohd Aiman. Involved in getting permission from involved parties needed on the day of event and the equipments (tents, etc.)

3. Sponsorship (17 more students).

Leader is Chai Siew Ting Chai.
Involved in approaching sponsors and goodie bags

Those who haven't signed up for anything please do so. We will be checking the name list on Monday and shall randomly allocate a position for those who are not signed up by then.

This is how group B is seperated into going to Kluang with other groups:

• 1.       Kala – goes with group A to Kluang, follows group C to labour ward for week 1
• 2.       Michelle & Ying Xin – goes with group C to Kluang, follows group A to antenatal ward for week 1
• 3.       Aiman – goes with group D to Kluang, follows group E to gynae ward for week 1
• 4.       Syazwan – goes with group E to Kluang, follows group D to OT & Clinic for week 1

Sem 9 Posting Evaluation

Dear all,

Please take note that the C2/10 Semester 9 posting evaluation has been uploaded in to the system. Need your favor to disseminate the info to the students to complete the evaluation (the link is posted in their IMU email address etc.; JASMINE.YEOSHUMING@student.imu.edu.my).

CtME will open the evaluation for one week starting from 11^th – 20^th July 2012. 

Course evaluation is now compulsory for all IMU students, as giving feedback is an integral part of the learning process. It greatly appreciated if you can ensure high response rate from the students.

Surgical updates (sorry for the delay!)

Dear all surgical group mates.
There has been a little confusion about our timetable so here are our latest updates.

1. TBL on the 2nd may 2012 with LSK has been changed from neck n breast to periop management.
2. TBL with RD supposed to be on the 30th April has been postponed to 11th May 2012. Topic will be neck and breast lumps.
3. TBL with HUQ on the 7th May could be brought forward to the 4th May(friday) instead. Not confirmed yet. Will update soon.
4. As for the stoma care patient interview, I have discussed with Sister tay and it would not be possible to call the patient for such a short period. We can find patients with stomas in the ward and interview them together if you would like.
5. If you would like any other topics to be discussed in classes please inform me and i will try to arrange.
